# CSAE Safety Standards for e-ghars
Last updated: 2025-11-05
## 1. Zero Tolerance
[Your Company] has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE). We prohibit any content, conduct, or use of the app that facilitates CSAE.
## 2. Scope and Prohibited Content
This standard applies to all users and content within e-ghars. Prohibited content includes, without limitation:
- Child sexual abuse material (CSAM), grooming or solicitation of minors, sexualized depiction of minors, and instructions that facilitate CSAE.
- Links, files, or metadata that point to CSAE content.
## 3. Prevention and Detection
We implement layered safeguards:
- Policy enforcement during onboarding and use (clear rules, reminders, and enforcement).
- Technical detection signals (hash-matching of known CSAM where available, automated heuristics, and manual review).
- Rate-limiting and abuse controls to deter mass-sharing and evasion.
## 4. Reporting and User Tools
Users can report suspected CSAE via:
- In-app reporting (where available), or email: [contact email]
We review urgent CSAE reports as quickly as possible and aim to respond within 24 hours.
## 5. Removal, Account Actions, and Escalation
Upon credible indication of CSAE:
- Immediate content removal and account suspension/ban.
- Evidence preservation strictly for lawful reporting and investigation.
- Prompt reporting to the appropriate authority:
- If operating in the United States: National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC).
- Elsewhere: local law enforcement and relevant hotlines in the jurisdiction (e.g., through WePROTECT/INHOPE networks).
We cooperate with lawful investigations consistent with applicable privacy and due process requirements.
## 6. Data Handling and Privacy
- Minimal retention of evidence solely for legal reporting and response; secure storage; restricted access.
- No sharing of data beyond what is legally required and strictly for CSAE prevention and investigation.
## 7. Staff Training and Governance
- Staff with CSAE responsibilities receive periodic training on detection, trauma-informed practices, and legal obligations.
- Clear internal escalation paths and periodic audits of CSAE processes.
## 8. Youth Safety and Design
- Features are designed to minimize risk (e.g., default privacy, limited discoverability, restricted direct messaging where applicable).
- We follow age-appropriate design principles and do not target minors for sexual content.
## 9. Transparency
- We may publish aggregate transparency data about CSAE reports and enforcement actions, subject to legal constraints.
## 10. Contact
